For transparency, here’s what’s outside the assistant’s scope:
- Process payments — the assistant can track revenue and expenses, but can’t charge credit cards (coming soon with BusyPay)
- Access other therapists’ data — each assistant is scoped to one practice only
- Browse the internet for you — it can search for information but doesn’t manage your social media accounts
- Override your business hours — it respects the hours you set
- Send messages during quiet hours — no messages before 9 AM or after 9 PM (configurable)
Your assistant has built-in safety limits:
- Quiet hours: No automated messages before 9 AM or after 9 PM
- Frequency limits: Won’t spam your clients with too many messages
- Approval gates: Marketing campaigns require your approval before sending
- Health data protection: SOAP notes and medical information never appear in text messages
- Escalation: Flags concerning messages for your review
